Why is Absolute Doula Care priceless?
As a certified post-partum doula and certified lactation counselor, I will come to your home and help you to take care of yourself and your newborn.
Allowing you to feel loved, taken care of, well fed, and well rested. Please don't hesitate to call a breastfeeding counselor to discuss your concerns about milk supply or pain.
Your breastfeeding concerns or questions should be addressed immediately to increase your breastfeeding success and maintain your milk supply.
Absolute Doula Care includes but is not limited to :
- Provide care and comfort to the new mom and family members
- Offer breastfeeding guidance and information
- Check for proper latch and teach you how to check for it
- Teach you to look for infant's feeding cues
- Assist with baby registry and nursery organization
- Tend to the baby's need for love, food, swaddling and holding
- Ease feelings of uncertainty and apprehension by addressing your questions openly and non-judgemental
- Encourage spousal support by allowing fathers/partners to be involved at their own comfort level
- Answer any questions men have about breastfeeding significance, benefits,advantages
- Care for the baby's siblings so that the mother can rest
- Give suggestions on how to assist your infant to sleep through the night (past newborn stage)
- Prepare snacks and meals for the family
- Laundry and light housekeeping
